Beautiful garden surroundings enhanced our stay.

We were extremely disappointed with the check-in process. The host was unwelcoming, and we were left waiting for over an hour for our room to be ready. To make matters worse, there was no communication or refreshments offered while we waited, which felt very inconsiderate.

Mark and Grace were incredibly welcoming hosts, making our stay even more enjoyable with their friendly service, and being just a short walk away from the stunning Bowness Bay gave us the chance to soak in the beautiful views every day.

Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, especially the full English served!

The room temperature was quite warm even with the window open during the stay.

Charming property, great amenities, with a lovely breakfast selection that catered to my preferences, and I appreciated the well-maintained clean room which featured a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi for extra convenience.

We arrived late on a rainy night but received such a warm welcome, and the location made it super easy to explore with lovely walks just a stone's throw away, including a scenic stroll to Windermere, which was only about 20 minutes away on foot.

Request a larger shower if available. some bathrooms are spacious but the shower size is limited.

The room was beautifully presented with a super king size bed that provided an exceptional level of comfort. We were impressed with the high-quality towels and the thoughtful amenities like tea, coffee, and hot chocolate readily available.

Just a well-suited match for an overnight stop in Bowness-on-Windermere with outstanding value. The shower was excellent and refreshing after a long day. Check for breakfast options close by, as it's not served anymore.

Variable shower pressure could be better!!! Limited parking spaces can get crowded quickly!!! Access from parking to rooms feels awkward with heavy luggage!!! Soundproofing between rooms needs improvement to ensure restful sleep!!!
